Wet, windy, and hot for Head of the harbour.

                                                          Saturday sailing ... again!

As always there is a certain entertainment to be found just getting the boats rigged and out there...

                                                            Stephen embraces colour

there are often new friends to be made..

                                                           the club buzzes with busyness..

you can have a chat with passers by..

you can finish rigging the boat...

                                                                 get on with the job...

                                                         ....   experience boating woes..

and wish I hadn't seen them...

stop to check Restless reversing out the creek...

check out the crew for the day...

Think of nursery rhymes... like Rub a dub dub... or Three blind mice?

You get my drift......

.... until finally we get out there where all the action is...

of course .. timing is important...

Rob was preparing the crew for his long absence...

leaving them with a plan...

Restless was showing her 'good side'

Dannon, Ben and Jordy were doing a 'dry' run!

and it was working!

 all lined up beautifully...

it was just the beginning of a wet, wet day..

as back and forth..

 they went...

there was a new kid on the block...

so new... nobody actually told him where we play,.....

Super Freaky looked kind of beamy...

while Magic Shadow looks rather fast...

and happy to be here , which is rather nice!

Restless passed the mark.. excellent .. because I am not talking about her bottom!

.. then it was over to the  ever growing dinghy fleet..

Ray led the way..

while Carli tried a Bic..

Will and Martin  moseyed past..

Christopher was looking pretty happy with his crews performance ..

he definitely has an "I've got this one " sort of grin..

There were close starts..

An advancing flotilla at the windward mark, with Morgan and Steve around first..

Gosh.. there were hundreds of boats... well nearly!

Carli had a few swims , but she was getting the hang of it..

Maria kept her company for a while ..

Blaney was about to have a bit of fun...

even though she looked very calm..

and obviously "she knows Bics"

and buoys..

but it all ended happily ..

as she sailed off into the afternoon sun!

Back with the men and the boys..

and the fathers and the daughters..

The MV Jack Mortenson was just hanging around..

there was a lot of back and forth..

Ray and Blaney were hanging out...

another race, another start...

orange seems to have it...

a few wet waves...

close sailing...

nice and streamlined Tierney and Sheldon

Wet! WET! WET!

some cross tacks ..

Maria was going low profile this week, slipping past the eye of the camera

the afternoon sun makes silhouettes

the boys in orange were dominating ..

Matthew took Dad Craig for a spin this week..

Matthew is training a family crew..

there seemed to be a bit of micro-managing going on...

everywhere...

here too...

Christopher was still keeping Pete on the straight and narrow..

Morgan and Steve enjoy the team work..

Craig and Matthew were ready for the last buoy rounding ...

.. and as the sun sank lower  on the horizon...

The MV Jack Mortenson headed for home

with plenty of ATTITUDE!
