The skies were blue, the sun was shining, the wind was howling, and so....... we all stayed ashore enjoying the new sailors bar facilities at the club, while the keen took a trip down memory lane and raced dinghies up and down the creek!
The yachties got their exercise- down the ramp, ..up the ramp...bring out the Pacers.....
Dirk was first off the mark..........
they picked their teams ...............
providing entertainment for all !
Sophie smiled for the camera .... briefly.....
but............
she wasn't too keen on the whole capsize procedure ........
meanwhile..........
back at the bar.....
while others
enjoyed the casual family time...............
..back on the water...
the old boys were bailing .......
or broaching.......
Till tired out ... Sue lent a hand...
the gear hung out to dry...............
the photographers put their cameras away....
the trophies dispensed ...
the Sailing season had begun!
