There was a smoky hazy sky, a 10 knot N-E breeze, flat blue water on the harbour, and seven yachts at the start line. The start line itself was a busy place with boating traffic going back and forth to Curtis Island.........
Solitaire weaved around
Loco had a family day
there was a bit of chatting ..........
On the start boat .......there was a little known official aboard .......
we know who blows the horn now don't we!!
.. many were present and accounted for!

David and Ben had a laugh......
Lynne tried the helm on Loco...
the multi hulls wecouldn't find enough breeze....
the sports dinghy stayed close .............
.. they said they worked hard.......
but they were always laughing...............
with no one much around them...................
back on the bigger boats .......
loco kept her lead over Immigrant....
who made a picture against that bauxite coloured roofline!
then the spinnakers came out ........
Muriel was busy...........
the birthday boy had to pull a rope of two....
Kym kept smiling ...............
there were tall ships... and later tall tales.....
murray took dad's boat .............
not sure if that was Normal................
oh .. that's better boys..........( always the teacher)
and before long the day was over .. it was time to
and go home ....
