The scene was colourful, the sails stood out,
a great representative crowd travelled from Keppel Bay ,
it was all action at the PCSC
The Racing got under way under crisp blue skies and gentle breezes..
Keppel Bay were testing the mark..
..... with the fleet all underway
the rescue boats settled down to keep an eagle eye on the competitors..
Tony and Clare had it under control..
There was 29er action
Two up...
Anna added a splash of colour on a BIC..
Matthew was winning the Impossible..
There were trapeze flyers
concentration ...
Non stop action
.. and a camera to catch every action...
some of the best action was far away...
but we saw it anyway...
There was action on lasers as well..
The mums with a passion
the coaching dad's
and the trainees in waiting ...
and the mums and dad's talked about strategy for Day Two!
Sunday - the sky was blue , the sails were colourful and the wind was perfect.. another day in paradise!
The sailors headed out
This time the seniors were allowed out there to show the juniors how it is done!
but they pretty well knew anyway!
The spectator boat was quite well positioned...
The spectator crowd came back for another tough day...
There wasn't a lot of excitement ..
but the skies were clear, it was colourful and Mt Larcom formed a backdrop
and the boys on the 29er gave us a show ...
We could have been in a tropical paradise!
Finally as the afternoon wore on , it was back for
Food , drinks and trophies...
With Keppel Bay taking out the silver plate once more
and everyone went home happy!
