Everyone was ready to roll.........
Despite small numbers in the junior dvisions of the club, guests from Keppel Bay helped to swell the numbers to a creditable fleet racing on the harbour on Saturday and Sunday.
No Problem followed the fleet from a distance on Saturday , so we could have a few photos of the dinghy action.
Starts were vigorously competitive..
the sabots stuck together in race 2
Keppel Bay had a bit of a lead in Race 2 dinghies
there were rescue boats for all..
dinghy skills on show...
Anna re visited sabot sailing ............
MArtin and Jack were obvious to all..
Tom played it cool..........
On No Problem we chatted ....
... sent Claire aloft to do the maintenance...
the view from the cabin was somewhat the same...
there were amusements for ALL the kids ....
from Hide and Seek - not too many options there...
to scare tactics....
from educational drawing ....
to tossing them overboard....
to a few other games .... which they enjoyed...!!!
The particpants recieved medals, Keppel Bay won the overall club trophy and took out most o fth eprizes except for Tom Moran who did us proud in the older dinghy division by taking out first overall in a hard fought contest that came down to the ref!
Absent - Jack Paul
