Final Race Sprint series and last Race of the season
Arriving at the club in anticipation of some great photos for the last race of the season....
.. finally a nice bit of breeze, should be good for some close encounters ,
a few capsizes, all the stuff you dream about........
...but sadly,
Herc was full of men and buoys,....
The start boat was full of busy blokes..
My Red Rib driver was out with a shoulder injury............
I tried ringing Tuan, but they were already out there...
.
It was definitely a Princess moment........
what should i do?
The other yachts might be a bit wet....
Head to the motor track?
take a walk around Spinnaker Park ?
and take a few photos from there ?
I guess i'll just have to make the best of it..
So I settled onto a nicely positioned rock...when this gull arrived as if to say..
" What are you doing here"?
Don't we usually see you out there...
playing around ...
with them?
fluffing around , back and forth...?
lining up to race away...
Two Wright led, Immigrant on her tail..
or closer..............
It was good to see Mike back with Thylacine ..
Tuan was on the Harbour tour route...
There was a good fleet of dinghies
some new faces ..
and old faces ............
The yachts came back and started again...
the dinghies went round and round
and it all happpened , over and over again..
The last race done and dusted ......
I went to find something to do during winter...
with a reminder that Trophy night is next Saturday and book your tables!
