The predictions were dire ......... rising winds ....25 knots... yuk , yuk yuk,
but instead we got ............no wind ....... the doldrums........dull dull dull...........
... the four yachts that set out finally found a spot of breeze and we settled into a very pleasant cruise around the harbour with 8 to 10 knots and a few pretty sights .........while the dinghies went softly , softly going nowhere much either !!
For the paparazzi there wasn't much to see.........
so a little play in photo shop seemed the thing to do ...............some texture ?
............lovin the man in the hat.............
Tom was leading the way to wind , ..........but no one was listening ...........
hither and thither .....................
the big yachts turned out ..........just cruisin' ........
Piranha had the kiddie playpen up
Anthony and Roger had problems - but what could they do?
" I'm surrounded "
I tried to help -- i turned them into a POSTER
On Immigrant they were applying Bandaid solutions
but i had a few suggestions too.........
a bit of Ocean Ripple
.............or perhaps some craqualture
or even a poster or two ?
but perhaps just the way i saw you ........
with Jeff on the helm....
and the crew lolling about ...........
soon Solitaire popped up as well...
........as we all enjoyed the scenery!
but in between i was finding it slow .........
so there was Gordon...........
and newbie - Stewart .....which proves some people do want to sail!!
I thought of swapping boats .............
but i wasn't sure of the destination.................
Solitaire stayed with us ......
as we took in the harbour views
and when all else fails .......
there are always the coloured sails .................
...... with plastic wrap ..... apparently...........
