As i am going to be out of Gladstone for the next three weeks while we do some skiing in Japan, here a few photoes that are worth posting from earlier sailing events.

                                                                                

                                                                                

Twilight Sail January 15th

                         There is a little sailing fleet, skippers, wives and crew.,
                                                                        

                                                                                 

      set out from the creek one  sunny day for a three hour cruise.........a three hour cruise......!!

                                                                              
                              Fuzzy Logic led the fleet away.....................

                 
       while others followed too.........................

       "Peter , Peter!!!" called the wife as the angle spilt the wine


                                                          
                                  on No Problem we were not polite...!!!

                                   but in spite of all those folks on boats............................

Twilight sailing

                  The time had come,            the rain had stopped,          the heat gone from the sun .


                                

                   Harbour ships moved slowly in..........

                   
                                   while powder puffs of clouds                              


  

                                                 turned pink ............then grey

The passengers were enjoying the moment ......................

                                                               in their own ways...................................

                                                       and Tom ..........a devilish duo...........

                                                         something with horns.........?

sherry was a newbie to boats and all that ..........

Jack was too old for all of that silly stuff ........

well worth seeing

and so a twilight sail over  ...

 BUT

we did it again the next evening

WITH 

Barry testing out the new start boat Lex gave him for Xmas :)

                                                         
                                             the Commodore gave his seal of approval.........

                                                                                   

                                                 there was much discussion on performance :)

                                                  while Cary and Lex practised relaxing...........


                  

                                                                     
                                                  .... I thought kids under 12 had to wear life jackets?

meanwhile on the real boats.....

Phoebe called the shots on Wayfarer.............

                   
                                Maria was driving No Problem,...........so.. Ray was hanging on.......?

                                      Liquidator  kept up the blue theme.................

                                        

                                            but  was a bit camera shy.............

                                                                            
               On Wayfarer .... Jenny disappeared whenever the camera was in range.............

                                                       so she spent a lot of time below decks!                          
                                                                                       
                           
                                                       but Hannah wasn't shy....................
                                         

                                         and we finished with a kite .....................

                                and went home too early missing another fantastic sunset.
