The year that was - A look back at the year of sailing at the Port Curtis Sailing Club

                                         The sailing year began on  January 16th ........................

                                           with perfect weather, blue skies and great boats..!!

On Rag Top they were keen as mustard..............

While Dirk worked the foredeck......

the skip had a light refreshment ..........

while on Tuan....

                                                             ...it was a team effort..............

                                                                     

                                                  Shauna had pole position on Two Wright ...

                                                 Thylacine was amongst it  all ....

                                                      Two Wright was catching Tuan ..                                                       

                                                                   Dr Bob was on the helm....

The following week............

Jan 30th

                                                                 the start was messy................. 

                                                                   Liquidator was out to win................

                                                            NAP and Piranha were at odds.........

El Encierro was outstanding .................

                                                          The boys on Solitaire were a mite confused ....but

Rob got them sorted...............

                           .........................so it  must have been Championship.....................

Port Curtis Sailing Club Christmas Party

                                                                             


The party was preceded by a family sail on the harbour, which for those who went along was quite enjoyable though grey skies , and dull water yet again.
                                                        
                                                      The day was all about the KIDS.

               Earlier in the day.....................Brien and Noel got everything ready for Santa and helpers............

Santa arrived in a style that kept him warm and dry for the next chimney................

All the little kids got presents ........... and some of the big kids played with them .........

                                                           while others enjoyed the lolly pops.........   

...the real kids just heaved a sigh and moved on.........

                                                                             

                                       it rained and it rained........... and it was hot and steamy ..........

                                                                           

                              there were families ........

...............and friends....................

things were getting a little swirly ..................

with big smiles..........
